The defending champion Shock rebounded from a close win over the Big Dogs last week to take both ends of a doubleheader and remain in first place. But wins by the Beavers and Agents kept them undefeated and close to the league leaders.
In a rematch of last year's semi-final, the Shock prevailed again over the Jokers, this time by a 22-12 score. In game two of their doubleheader, the Shock were too much for the Eagles, jolting them by a 38-7 score. The Shock are now 4-0 and sit alone in first place.
A short handed Beavers squad started slowly against the Bandits but had a strong second half to cruise to 42-0 victory, while the Agents overcame a 9-6 halftime defecit against the Jager Bombers to score 28 unanswered points and win 35-9. Both teams are 3-0 and are tied for second.
In other action, the Brusers won their second in a row 30-8, handing the Eagles their first loss of the seaso while the Big Dogs won their first game of the season, mauling the Warriors 27-8.
Week 4 action features two key games as the Shock will battle the Agents and the Beavers take on the Jokers. In other games, the winless Jager Bombers and Bandits square off, each looking to get in the win column; the Warriors try to get on track against the red hot Brusers; and the Eagles look to soar against the charging Big Dogs.
