As the AFFL heads into its annual Thanksgiving Break, the Agents and Golden Beavers sit atop the standings, with the Jokers and Redskins close behind. Add the resurgent Bruzers to the mix and a dangerous Big Dogs squad that has yet to find its stride and you have the makings of a interesting last couple of weeks of the season headed our way.
The Agents followed their big win over the Beavers with a big loss to the Big Dogs, bowing 38-19 to the 2012 champs. However, the Agents have reeled off three wins in a row since then to sit at 5-1. Joining them at 5-1 are the Golden Beavers, who have recovered from losing to the Agents to win four in a row. Hot on their heels are the Jokers and Redskins. Both teams sit at 4-1-1 after a hardfought 23-23 tie last weekend.
The Bruzers sit at 3-3, but have defeated the Big Dogs and suffered close losses to the Jokers and Redskins. The Big Dogs are a surprising 2-3, with losses to the Jokers, Beavers and Bruzers and a big win over the Agents. The Warriors, Team Green and tenacious Bandits round out the field with only two wins amongst them.
