Week 2: Beavers cut down Untouchables; Agents make it 12 in a row

And then there were two.

After Week 2 of AFFL play, only the Agents and Big Dogs remain undefeated - and the Beavers and Warriors are now in the win column.

The defending champion Agents took care of business with a 31-0 whitewash of the Bandits to extend their winning streak to 12 games.  Not to be outdone, the Big Dogs kept pace atop the standings with a 29-6 win over Team Green.  Both teams are  2-0.

The Untouchables and Jokers looked to be there with the Dawgs and Agents - but the Beavers and Warriors had other plans.  After a tough loss to the Big Dogs in Week 1, the Beavers faced another tough challenge in the Untouchables and in a see-saw affair emerged victorious by a 21-14 count. Not to be outdone, the Warriors welcomed back prodigal QB Marty Patience and the gunslinger took advantage of his youth infused line-up to sling 4 TDs in a 28-17 win over the Jokers.

With the wins, the Warriors and Beavers move to 1-1 and have set the table for a showdown on Sunday September 26th.
