Week 5: BIG DOGS STAY PERFECT; UNTOUCHABLES OUTLAST WARRIORS

After the Thanksgiving break,  all teams were back in action in Week 5 of AFFL play.  The Big Dogs emerged from the weekend still perfect - but they will be put to the test in the next two weeks of the regular season.

The Dawgs took on the Jokers with their 4-0 record on the line, and came away with a 24-10 win to move to 5-0 and stay atop the standings.   Keeping pace were the defending champion Agents, who scored a 43-16 win over Team Green.  The Golden Beavers moved above .500 with a convincing 43-0 rout of the Bandits.  And in the barn burner match of the day, the upstart Warrior gave the Untouchables all they could handle in what turned into a shootout. But in the end, the veteran Untouchables squad ended up being the last man standing to take the 36-30 victory.

The final two weeks of the regular season will see some great match-ups - the first being next Sunday with first place on the line as the Big Dogs take on the Agents.  An Agents win coupled with an Untouchables victory over the Jokers will create a 3 way tie for first and a log jam at the top of the standings going into Week 7.
