Team 9 continued its debut season on Sunday by taking on the defending AFFL champion Beavers in what turned out to be a hard fought and somewhat heated contest. With the Big Dogs on a bye week, both team were looking to inch closer to top spot, with the Beavers looking to recover from last week's loss to the Big Dogs.
Unfortunately for the Beavers, Team 9 had other ideas.
In the end, the upstarts handed the Beavers a 20-15 loss to keep their bid for a top-2 seed entering the playoffs alive.
In other action, the Agents kept on rolling by taking down the Untouchables by a 25-15 count. The Warriors entered the win column with a tough 20-19 win over the Bandits, while the Jokers got back to their winning ways with a 26-14 win over Team Green.
