If there was ever any doubt, it should now be erased.
The Shock defeated the Beavers in Flag Bowl 2011 to win their 5th consecutive AFFL Championship, moving them past the Tottenham Express into 2nd on the all-time AFFL championships list, trailing only the Sorcerers.

The Shock have been the dominant franchise of the past 10 years, appearing in the final eight times. They have gone 45-1 in the past four seasons and hold AFFL records for most points for and least against in a season.
It's a run that - when it ends - the league may never see the like of again.
