After almost upsetting the defending champs in game one of a double header, the Big Dogs were looking to get in the win column against the winless Bruzers. However, in a rematch of last year's C Championship, the Bruzers avenged their defeat and surprised the Big Dogs to notch their first win of the season, moving the Big Dogs to an unlikely 0-3 record.
In other action, the Beavers moved to 2-0 with a close win over the Bruzers; the Shock prevailed 21-20 over the Big Dogs; Jokers squeaked by the Warriors 26-24; Eagles soared to a last play 20-18 win over the Jager Bombers; and the Agents dominated the Bandits 69-0.
