Just when the Beavers seem to patch the dam- another leak sprung.
The Golden Beavers came off a tough Week 1 loss to the Big Dogs to get a big Week 2 win against the Untouchables and were looking to keep things tight against the Warriors on Sunday. Unfortunately, the Warriors had other ideas. Paced by the Troop brothers - Thomas and Bobby - and QB Marty Patience on offence and a solid all around defensive effort that kept Beavers two way standout Chris Graham in check for the most part, the Warriors prevailed with a 22-14 win.
In other action, both the Agents and Big Dogs remained perfect. The Agents moved to 3-0 with a 38-15 win over the Jokers, while the Big Dogs kept pace with a 20-7 win over the Bandits. In the only other game, the Untouchables got back into the win column with a 35-14 win over Team Green.
This coming Sunday, the game of the day will feature a 2019 championship rematch as the Untouchables look to end the Agents 13 game win streak; while the Warriors look to establish themselves as a top-tier team as they take on the undefeated Big Dogs. The league will then take a hiatus for the Thanksgiving weekend and return to play October17th.
