Week 2: COOK AND COTE TAKE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOURS

In a new feature, we'll take a look at gamesheets each week and hand out Player of the Week kudos.  You couldn't find two better representatives of the AFFL to garner our inaugural POW honours.

Between them,  they have 55 years of  AFFL playing experience, have quarterbacked teams to three AFFL titles  - and have both seen the number FIVE-OH on birthday cakes.  But  Brian Cook of the Bruzers and Larry Cote of the Beavers showed on Sunday that they still love to play - and can still sling it.

Cook's seven touchdown passes and Cote's four touchdown strikes paced both their teams to victory - and served notice that you take these "old men" lightly at your own peril. Their 11 combined touchdown passes are certainly worthy of  Week 2  AFFL Player of the Week honours.
